A gorgeous red-orange fountain pen ink.

A traditional Japanese colour reference, Akadaidai (raddish orange) is a beautiful orangey red with lots of shading. We were inspired by the colour used in Shinto shrines in Japan.

Akadaidai, it is a dark orangey red also descibed in Japan as the colour of the ripe fruits of bitter oranges, but the "with the colour maturation advanced further".

This ink is manufactured to our precise specifications exclusively for us by British heritage brand Diamine, a company that has 150 years experience in the production of inks.
